Display Screen Equipment Risk Assessments

The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations apply where employees and self employed contractors use display screen equipment ( e.g. computers, lap tops etc) as a significant part of their normal day-to-day work. (typically daily for continuous periods of an hour or more).

Poorly designed display screen equipment workstations or work environments can result in workers experiencing posture problems and pain, discomfort or injuries to their hands/arms, headaches or sore eyes etc.
